Payments
 

A deposit of 50% of the total booking to confirm.

  Full balance to be paid two weeks before the safari commences.
  Payment accepted in US$ - Cash or Bank transfers are accepted.
  Please pay deposit into ABSA Visa Card 4550 2790 0272 6012 and
  fax deposit slip with reservation confirmation to +27 18 297 3871.

v Transport to and from the Johannesburg International Airport
v Fully equipped safari camp and fully stocked bar (local alcohol

v Services of a Professional Hunter
v 4x4 Vehicle for road transport in safari area and/or hunting vehicles

Laundry, gun bearers, skinners, camp personnel and field
  preparation of trophies
v All permits and license fees fees, excluding CITES

Air charter, air fares or other forms of transport
v Hotel accommodation before (should you be here before safari
  commences) and after safari

Touring costs outside of hunting area
v Tobacco / cigarettes or Champaign, alcohol, & beverages not

v Hire of firearms and ammunition
v Insurances

v

Visa and customs duties
v Trophy fees, wounded or killed

v

Tips or gratuities to staff
v Dip and packaging of trophies

v

Arms & Ammunitions
 
 
v A .30 Cal. or similar rifle is recommended
v For dangerous game a minimum of .375 H&H mag is requisite
v Hunters wishing to apply for a visa and/or importing rifles and
  shotguns must supply the following :
  * 3 passport photographs
  * Photocopy of passport showing all details of applicant
  * Details of rifles : Type, Make, Caliber and Serial Number
  * Amount of ammunition
     
  NB: Visitors bringing firearms into South Africa for hunting purposes,  
    will be required to fill in a Temporary Import Application form SAP 520
    This form can be downloaded  from the PHASA website by clicking on
the links provided below. Please read the section
"Importation Of Firearms" before completing the form.

    It may be filled out on arrival but we would suggest filling in the form

 

  beforehand to save the processing time at the Police Office.
   
 
   

Liabilities
 
While the safety of our guests is of the utmost importance to us,
Mag Safaris can however accept no responsibility for any injury, illness, 
loss or accident before , during or after the safari, or any expense arising 
from such incidents. Clients and guests are therefore strongly advised to
arrange their own insurance.
 

 

Immunization
  A vaccination against Malaria, Cholera and Yellow Fever, is compulsory.
  Even though the area is classified as malaria free, a course of Malaria
  tablets should be taken before arrival.
